Life is all about living a good story and sharing what you've learned along the way. In this 2nd episode of "A Bloody Good Conversation," I sit down with Betty Bland. Betty is 84 years young and still owns and operates her own praline candy company.  She's a New Orleans native who has traveled and lived all over the world. She gives a little insight into the magic that makes New Orleans so amazing and we share a few stories about sipping bloody marys in the Crescent City.

As Betty would say, " Laissez les bons temps rouler!"

Its a time. Its a place. Its the special people that make this life worth living. In this first episode of "A Bloody Good Conversation", we sit down with an iconic Texas lady. She's 85, and has lived a life larger than the great state she resides in. She still runs her family thoroughbred race horse farm from behind the wheel of her white cadillac, and has a few life lessons to share. She's also my grandmother. We sat down with, Betty Showers Brown, aka Momite, at her southern home to get some insight into living a meaningful life and what it truly means to be a Southern Lady. Oh, and we might have had a Bloody Mary or two.
